DESIGN :
good design

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the most elegant , best-looking handset in the world , thanks to its partial design overhaul which sees the removal of Samsung’s traditional “Home” button and the birth of on-screen navigation.
However , removal of Home button means the fingerprint scanner is now located at the back which , to be honest , is a more convenient spot for most android users.
If you take notice , the Samsung S8  & S8 plus looks longer than the predecessors and this is due to their new 18.2:9 aspect ratios which provides better, more immersive video experience and also more space for staking apps.
The Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8 inches AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and an incredible pixel density of 570 ppi. On the other hand , the Galaxy S8 plus is a bigger device thanks to its 6.2 inches display , 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and 529 ppi density.
Both handsets features Samsung’s popular EDGE display , have narrow bezels and a screen-to-body ratio of ~83%. The device is protected by corning gorilla 5 which provides durability.

OS & PROCESSING POWER :
In terms of hardware , the Galaxy S8 & S8+ uses the new Qualcomm Octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor which is energy-efficient and more powerful than any other processors on the market. Both smartphones come 4GB RAM , 64GB Internal storage with an option to expand using SD card of up to 256GB.
Packing powerful performance and connectivity, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ feature the industry’s first 10nm processor, enabling heightened speed and efficiency. It is also gigabit LTE and gigabit Wi-Fi ready with support for up to 1 Gbps so users can quickly download files, regardless of the file size.
For those who don’t know , Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset  is engineered to deliver exceptionally long battery life, lifelike VR and AR experiences, cutting-edge camera capabilities and Gigabit Class download speeds. It is 35% smaller (In size) and uses 25% less power than previous designs.
The Galaxy S8 & S8+ runs Android 7.0 Nougat with Grace UX , Samsung’s custom user interface.
CAMERA :
With Camera being on of the strongest point of Samsung Galaxy Series , the Galaxy S8 comes with 12MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture similar to that of the S7. However , the S8 uses the new Sony IMX333 sensor which provides great uplift to the overall camera performance. The front camera features 8MP sensor for selfies an HD Video calling.

SAMSUNG FINALLY LAUNCHES GEAR 360 CAMERA APP ON PLAYSTORE

Samsung has finally released its own new camera app called Gear 360 camera. The announcement of the camera App was made official alongside the introduction of the Galaxy S8. Having said that, the app is now available on the Google Playstore for you to install.

Samsung Gear 360 camera is said to have two fish-eye lenses to capture 360-degree video. Now, you can use the app to capture both pictures and as well videos, and they will all be saved on your phone.

That's not all, as we all know that we can record videos, take pictures and save them on the phone; we can as well check the Gear 360's settings and status, and start a live broadcast (only for the new model).

Unfortunately, just like last year, the new Gear 360 is only (officially) compatible with a handful of Samsung devices. This includes the S8/S8+, S7/S7e, S6/S6e/S6e+, Note5, A5 2017, and A7 2017. If you don't own a Samsung device, you can as well test-run the app on other phones, but your mileage may vary. Like i said earlier, the app is already live on the Google Playstore, you can download Gear 360 camera Here.

Breaking: Leaked Samsung Galaxy S8 Photo!

This is no BS render or image of a screen protector! This is a real leaked photo of the Samsung Galaxy S8!
It’s widely believed that Samsung is waiting for MWC to launch the Samsung Galaxy S8, and that sounds about right to us but it doesn’t mean that there aren’t actual live Galaxy S8’s already in the wild!
This photo was sent to me earlier today by a company that is making accessories for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 and appears to show a leaked model of the upcoming Galaxy S8 flagship smartphone.
We can see from the photo that this gold phone is clearly marked with Samsung branding, and in fact the area where the branding is seen is where the physical home button is found on the S7. This either means that the fingerprint scanner is now located on the rear of the Samsung Galaxy S8 or the new phone feature an ‘under screen’ fingerprint scanner.
The glossy gold body is curved to match the curved display of the Samsung Galaxy S8, and we can see from the onscreen icons that the S8 will feature NFC. It’s also interesting that the Android system clearly shows Google services in the Chinese UI suggesting that this is an international version of the new Samsung flagship.

End Of The Road For Galaxy Note 7? A Brief History Of Exploding Flagship

Galaxy Note 7, doomed Flagship

Well, it is now finally over for Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The phone that began with great promise now go down without a whimper. The agency funded by the largest new state of South Korea, Yonhap news agency, citing an unnamed senior Samsung saying that the continued production of the so-called replacement "safe" Samsung Note 7 has been halted.

Although this is not the official statement from Samsung, but from Yonhap news okayed the bureaucracy and the news agency does not peddle false information and are not interested in the bait click.
The world now expects Samsung to confirm the news.
This news is not entirely unexpected. Since the saga of replacing Samsung catch fire in an airplane hit the headlines, predicted that one of two things would happen, as long as it refers to footnote 7.
The first was that there would be another reminder note 7.
And the second is that Samsung could just cut to the chase and announce note 7 as a failed project.

Samsung Electronics head office

In both cases, they cost a lot of money. Even though the phones were insured, most of that money will be paid as a liability to people who could drag Samsung to court for injuries and loss of property as a result of the explosion of mobile.
Samsung also will lose money on the fact that revenues from the sale of Note 7 million next year never materialized.
I am now eager to see what the benefits of Samsung would be like next year when financial results are made public.

The structural problems of note 7
When news of Note 7 Samsung Galaxy catching fire was too much to be ignored or treated as a coincidence, Samsung had to act quickly to respond to the crisis.

Galaxy Note 7, doomed flagship

On the measures, besides the possibility of returning the phone, it was to change the battery manufacturers. reputation dirt effectively the company that made the first batteries.
The decision followed the story defective batteries were the cause of phones catching fire.
But with the new replacement phones also catch fire batteries overheating, this story has been closed forever. Obviously, two battery manufacturers reputable can not make defective batteries.
The spotlight has now turned on the fact that structurally, there was something fundamentally wrong in note 7. The batteries catching fire, it was only a symptom of deep-seated problems in the design and construction of footnote 7.

Tje logical thing to do in this case was to redesign the entire phone from the ground; after spending a lot of time to test the phone tightly. Such a scenario would be a number of months.
So hello Galaxy Note 8 or whatever the name Samsung have chosen to call the next version of this series. Because, no matter how you look, the best choice is to rest for Samsung Galaxy note name and rename it with something new. This name is stained.

The last drop
Several straws made. Last week, especially on weekends, it was time for Samsung reality finally had to do something drastic to the phone.

Abby Zuis’ damaged replacement Note 7

A straw when when reports emerged that the man who lives in Kentucky has ended up in the hospital emergency department for treatment of bronchitis after inhaling smoke from a fire Note 7. Apparently asleep at night when the phone is on fire.
He was fortunate to have awakened to extinguish the fire from the phone or had heard of the first death caused by the phone.
But most damning is that Samsung have tried to ignore the man after the incident was reported to them.
Another incident involved 13 years Abby Zuis whose note 7 replacing a burned finger because it was hot very quickly, as he held it.
Fortunately, this was the only injury he suffered.

Several other alternative reports emerged Note 7 quickly put Samsung in a difficult situation. We have to do something.
The first stage of that "something must be done" is to stop production footnote 7.
