List Of HTC Phones That We Be Getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow Upgrades

In an event held in San Francisco today, Google Officially announced the new nexus devices. Not only were the nexus devices (nexus 6P and 5x) talked about, Google also launched the much anticipated android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Despite the fact that the new Nexus phones will ship with the new OS, Google says android 6.0 marshmallow OS roll out will begin from October 5th.

Following this report, HTC via twitter, has outlined the list of HTC phones that will be getting the android 6.0 marshmallow operating system upgrade.

Basically, the HTC One M9 and the HTC One M8 will be getting the android 6.0 marshmallow update before the end of the year.
Other devices that will be getting the new OS upgrade are:

¶ HTC One E9+
¶ HTC One E9
¶ HTC One ME
¶ HTC One E8
¶ HTC One M8 EYE
¶ HTC Butterfly 3
¶ HTC Desire 826
¶ HTC Desire 820
¶ HTC Desire 816

Although the HTC One M9 and M8 will definitely get the update this year, other devices outlined above will only be getting the update in the future. By that, no specific date frame was set. Please note that the update will be rolled over by regions.

Hence, if you own any of the HTC devices listed above, brace up, the android 6.0 Marshmallow will be coming to your device sooner or later.
