Microsoft has launched its first Laptop Called the Surface Book

Microsoft has finally introduced its first laptop, the Surface Book which it says is two times faster than Apple’s MacBook Pro. The laptop has a 13.5-inch display with a resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels, which places pixel density at 267 pixels per inch. Not only does the screen support touch, you can write on it with a Surface Pen.

The Surface Book is an innovative move from Microsoft and they have claimed that their new laptop is “the most powerful laptop on the planet.”
One interesting thing about the device is it has a detachable display that can even be attached backwards. There’s a quirky hinge that has a flexible dynamic fulcrum design, and it attaches the display to the keyboard.

At the front of this device is a 5-megapixel camera which supports Windows Hello face-authentication, and an 8-megapixel camera is slapped at the rear. The Surface Book comes in a number of variants, each with different processors (Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7), varying RAM (8GB RAM and 16GB RAM) and storage space (128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB).

Microsoft is promising better battery life and better performance wih its new hybrid laptop. The price of the Surface Book starts from $1499 and, depending on your desired choice, could go up to $2699.
