MTN has withdrawn its Android One deal which should run for 12 months. Initially, MTN said it will offer users of Infinix Hot 2 1GB data for N500 with a renewal plan within 12 months.
According to MobilityArena, the leading network provider has eaten its own words and dumped the initial agreement entirely.
Existing users who used the official command by sending A1 to 131 via SMS now get a shocker of their lives.
Sorry, in adherence to regulatory requirements, the Android One bundle has been withdrawn. Please dial *123*3# *123*4# for other exciting bundles offers. Thank you.
This is the highest of level of insensitivity on the side of MTN. It’s sad really. Many buyers of this device tried and failed to activate this plan on their phones.
I guess this might draw the attention of many people to buy the phone because of low data subscription. Let see how infinix hot 2 we cope with this withdrawal.
