It is no longer a news again, WhatsApp has come out with the latest updates to stop some devices from using WhatsApp. Bad news?? Really, you have to upgrade your phone.
According to WhatsApp, "We will soon be ending support for certain devices. At the end of December 2016", Whatsapp will no longer support the following platforms:
¶ BlackBerry, including BlackBerry 10
¶ Nokia S40
¶ Nokia Symbian S60
¶ Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
¶ Windows Phone 7.1
¶ iPhone 3GS/iOS 6
¶ Nokia S40
¶ Nokia Symbian S60
¶ Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
¶ Windows Phone 7.1
¶ iPhone 3GS/iOS 6
Mytechng.com gather some informations from editweaks, WhatsApp released a statement : "we're putting an even greater emphasis on security features and more ways to stay in touch with the people that you care about. These platforms listed above don't offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app's features in the future."
If your device is among those listed above, , we recommend upgrading to a newer Android running OS 2.3+, a Windows Phone 8+, or an iPhone running iOS 7+ before the end of 2016 to continue using WhatsApp.
Please this information is very important, share with your friends. Thanks for sharing.
